Elecciones de Personajes de la Biblia


Tomamos decisiones todos los días, muchas de ellas son de rutina como qué es lo que vamos a comer o ponerse o adonde ir. Ocasionalmente las elecciones del hombre traen como resultado una inesperada alegria y felicidad mientras que otras traen desilución y dolor al corazón. A menudo estamos llamados a hacer grandes decisiones que pueden implicar la religión, cambio de trabajo o problemas de vida o muerte. Probablemente alguno de nosotros hemos conocido individuos que han tomado malas decisiones y otros que han tomado buenas decisiones. De todas maneras nuestras buenas o malas decisiones traen consigo algun tipo de consequencia.Las siguientes son algunos ejemplos en la Biblia de:

Decisiones Consecuencias
Adán y Eva comieron de la fruta prohibida muerte, expulsión del Edén, dolor
Caín ofreció un sacrificio inaceptable reprendido por Dios
Caín asesinó a su hermano se convirtió en vagabundo
Noé construyó el arca considerado justo
Abraham accediendo a sacrificar a su hijo recibio promesas
María deseando ser instrumento de Dios dio a luz a Jesús- nuestro sacrificio
Judas traicionando a Jesús por amor al dinero cometió suicidio
Pablo arrepintiéndose y obedeciendo se convirtió en apóstol

Cada día tomamos decisiones que involucra nuestro crecimiento en el conocimiento de Dios y en nuestro entendimiento de como debemos obedecer sus mandatos y así agradarle. Consideremos lo siguiente:
    . ¿Seremos honestos con nuestros negocios, familia y vida espiritual?
    . ¿Seremos fieles con nosotros mismos, nuestro esposos e hijos?
    . ¿Controláremos nuestra mente, ojos y lengua?
    . ¿Daremos gracias a Dios por todas las cosas?
    . ¿Seremos humildes y obedeceremos los mandamientos de Dios para así reconciliarnos con El?

1. Cada decision de la vida es una gran decisión
        

2. A menudo nuestras decisions traen grandes consecuencias en nuestras vidas
        

3. Ejemplos de decisiones en la Biblia nos revelan que las decisiones de desobediencia traen dolor y tristeza mientras que las decisions de obediencia brindan alegria y felicidad
        

4.Evalua desiciones que hayas tomado que vayan de acuerdo a las cinco preguntas hechas en el texto

Choices of Bible Characters

Every day we make many decisions, most of which are routine such as what we eat or wear and where we go. Occasionally man's choices result in unexpected joy and happiness while others bring great disappointment and heartaches. Often we are called upon to make major choices that affect entire family relationships which could involve religion, jobs with possible relocation or life and death matters. Probably all of us have known individuals who have made some bad decisions and others who have made some good decisions. Regardless of whether good or bad our choices have some type of consequence.

The following are some examples in the Bible of:

            Decisions                                                              Consequences

° Adam & Eve eat of forbidden fruit      Death, banned from Eden and pain
° Cain offering unacceptable sacrifice    Reprimanded by God
° Cain killing his brother                        Became a marked wanderer
° Noah building the ark                          Considered righteous & saved mankind
°Abraham sacrificing his son                  Received promises
° Moses chose God                                Became the leader of great nation
° Mary desired to be used by God          Birth of Jesus who became our sacrifice
° Judas betrayed Jesus for money          Committed suicide
° Paul repented, obeyed and immersed  Became the Apostle to the Gentiles

Each day we face choices involving our growth in the knowledge of God and in our understanding of how we can obey his commands so we can please Him. Consider the following:

° Will we be honest in our business, family and spiritual life?
° Will we be faithful to our self, spouse and children?
° Will we control our mind, eyes and tongue?
° Will we give thanks to God in all things?
° Will we humble ourselves and obey God's commands so we can be reconciled to Him?

1. Every decision in life is a major decision.
         

2. Often our decisions have major consequences on our lives.
         

3. Bible examples of choices reveal that choices of disobedience bring pain and sadness while the choice of obedience brings joy and happiness.
